NoxBot privacy policy

Who operates NoxBot
NoxBox operates NoxBot and the NoxBox services it uses. This policy covers the bot and its installation page. For privacy questions or data requests, email noxboxinfo@gmail.com.
Information we process
- Discord user, server, channel, message, and interaction identifiers supplied with commands and menu selections, together with the identity information Discord supplies to run the bot and attribute results.
- Command inputs, such as a job, patch, raid, FFLogs report reference, selected player, and analysis filters.
- Public or unlisted FFLogs report data needed for the requested analysis, including character names, jobs, encounters, pull timing, outcomes, and combat events.
- Technical request and error information used by our hosting providers, which may include IP addresses and timestamps when you visit this website or contact a service.
NoxBot does not request access to read general message content or scan your channel history. You do not need to provide a Discord password or connect a private FFLogs account.
How we use and share information
We use this information to answer commands, build analysis results, keep selection menus tied to the person who opened them, attribute channel posts, prevent abuse, and diagnose service failures.
Discord delivers interactions and stores bot messages. Railway hosts the bot; Vercel hosts NoxBox; Neon provides the database used for request limits; and FFLogs supplies report data. These providers process information needed for their roles under their own terms and privacy policies. Opening a gearset link takes you to its independent provider. The installation page loads the bot icon from Discord’s CDN.
We do not sell bot interaction data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to train AI models. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to respond to a security incident.
What other people can see
BiS, patch, and world-first results appear in the channel where the command is used. Analysis menus are private to the requester; choosing to post an analysis shares the result and requester attribution with people who can view that channel. Results may include character names and raid performance information. Only submit reports you have permission to use and share. An unlisted report is accessible to people who have its link; it is not a private report.
Storage and retention
Analysis selections and report context are held temporarily in the bot’s memory. Menus expire after 10 minutes, and expired sessions are removed by periodic cleanup. NoxBox processes analysis report data in memory rather than saving a report archive for the bot.
Request-limit and duplicate-request records contain keyed hashes rather than raw Discord identifiers or report content. Their active windows are one minute or 15 minutes; expired rows are removed in bounded batches as requests arrive, so expiry is not immediate physical deletion. Bot application logs use generic operational events rather than report links, message content, identities, or credentials. Hosting providers may retain infrastructure logs and backups under their own retention settings.
Published Discord messages remain until deleted in Discord, even if a menu expires or the bot is removed. Copies made by other users are outside our control. Support emails remain as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations.
Your choices and requests
You can stop using NoxBot, ask a server administrator to remove it, or delete messages where Discord permissions allow. Email noxboxinfo@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of data we control. Include the relevant Discord identifier and enough context to locate the data; do not send passwords or tokens. We may ask for reasonable identity verification. We will handle requests according to applicable law, including any legally required retention exceptions.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object to processing, restrict it, receive a copy of your data, or complain to your local privacy regulator. Our providers may process data in countries other than yours.
Age, security, and updates
NoxBot is intended for people eligible to use Discord under Discord’s terms, including its minimum age requirements. We take reasonable measures to protect the service, but no internet service is completely secure. We will update this page when our practices change and identify the revision date above.
